Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day-1 ARIIVAL AT SRINAGAR + LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  On this day, you will be arriving in Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir. Upon arriving in this gorgeous city, you will be warmly received by our tour guides and representatives who will help you in checking-in into a delightful houseboat or hotel. Post checking-in, visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens, CheshmaShahi or the ‘Royal Spring’, PariMahal or the ‘Palace of the Fairies’, Shalimar Garden or the ‘Garden of Love’, Nishat Garden or the ‘Garden of Pleasure’ and Shankaracharya Temple. The day will end with your visit to the Handicraft Emporium, where you will get to witness and explore the various arts and cultures of Jammu and Kashmir; dinner and overnight stay will be in a hotel.

• Day-2 SRINAGAR – SONAMARG - KARGIL (200KM)

  After breakfast in the hotel and embark on a drive to Sonamarg. Also known as the ‘Meadow of Gold’, this scenic hill station is perched at a height of 9,000 ft. above the sea level and is one of the most popular and highest visited destinations in Jammu and Kashmir. Following your arrival in the pristine and verdant valleys of Sonamarg that are jotted with captivating mountains and flowery meadows, hire a pony and take a ride to the enchanting Thajiwas Glacier. After spending some of the most enjoyable and merry moments in Sonamarg, proceed to Drass by surface. We will pass through the panoramic villages and reach Sonamarg. Visit to Nilagradriver, Baltal meadow. We proceed towards most rough road and wet Zojila pass (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (the second coldest inhibited place in the world) Night in Kargil.

• Day-3 KARGIL - LEH(203KM).

  Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards Leh. We will have to ascend three passes this day which will be tiresome but panoramic too. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek famous for huge Budha statue. We have to cross the highest pass (Fotila 13749 ft.) on Srinagar Leh route. Then we will halt at Lamayuru which is the oldest Monastery in Ladhak. After that we continue our drive to next village Nimu, where you can take a view of Zanaskar River following into Indus. Enroute visit to Magnetic Hill, where you can experience the Defiance of the law of gravity. Visit GurudwaraPatthar Sahib and Kali Mata temple and reach Leh in the evening.Overnight stay at your Hotel.

• Day-4 LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING.

  After breakfast proceed for a complete day of visit to the monasteries. We drive to visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey&Hemis monasteries, Stok Palace Museum & Sindhu Ghat, Shanti Stupa, Leh palace etc. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.

• Day-5 LEH - KHARDUNGLA PASS - NUBRA VALLEY.

  Take breakfast at the hotel and then leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and SamstalingGompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Diskit / Hundar. Check-in at the camp or hotel for Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

• Day-6 NUBRA VALLEY – PANGONG - TSO LAKE via SHYOK:

  After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) Via Shyok Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lakhardunglake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong while appreciating the changing Colours and fascinating high altitude of khardunglathe Lake. Overnight stay at Pangong.

• Day-7 PANGONG - TSO LAKE – LEH

  Don’t miss the Sunrise. After early Breakfast at Pangong Lake Drive through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Enroute Visit Hemis, Thikse, SheyMonastries. 3 Idiot School. Overnight stay at Leh.
