Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day-1 NJP to Gangtok (135 km. / approx 4.30 hrs)

  On arrival at (NJP) railway station and Drive to Gangtok. Check in to Hotel and Nights Stay at Gangtok.

• Day-2 Excursion – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  Early in the morning (7.30 am) drive for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, situated 32 km away from the city at an altitude of above 12,000 ft. & Baba Mandir another 01 hour drive. Enjoy yak ride around the lake (own cost). Drive back to hotel for lunch. Enjoy your evening at MG Marg in Gangtok. Note: Foreigner are not allowed to go to Baba Mandir. They can go up to Tsomgo Lake only accompanied by a local guide. Guide charges to be paid extra.

• Day-3 Gangtok to Darjeeling – 120km /4hrs

  Morning after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (120kms/4hrs).Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day-4 Darjeeling best points local sightseeing

  Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga ( Worlds 3rd highest peak ), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day best point local sightseeing in Darjeeling covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.

• Day-5 Darjeeling – PHUENTSHOLING ( 06 hrs / 170 km )

  Morning breakfast at Darjeeling hotel and check out from Darjeeling hotel and then transfer to Phuentsholing – the Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains.On arrival, hotel check-in. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

• Day-6 PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU ( 04 hrs / 150km)

  After breakfast, we will complete the immigration formalities, and then transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.On arrival, hotel check-in. In the evening, you can visit the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).Overnight stay in Thimphu.

• Day-7 THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

  After having breakfast, we will visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), a place with a huge statue of Buddha; National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum.In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre (the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here).Overnight stay in Thimphu.

• Day-8 THIMPU TO PARO/LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast drive to Paro ( 75 km )-another serene beauty of Bhutan. Later Visit the monuments like 1 : Kichu Lakhang 2 : Drukgyel Dzong: 3 : Rin Pung Dzong Over Night in Paro.

• Day-9 PARO – PHUENTSHOLING (Distance: 200 kms. / Driving Time: 7 hrs.

  After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

• Day-10 PHUENTSHOLING – NJP Drop ( 145km / 03.30 hrs )
